Elizabeth Shippen Green studied with Howard Pyle at the Drexel Institute where she met and became close friends with Jessie Wilcox Smith and Violet Oakley; she was a member of the Brandywine School of illustration; her luminous color work shows the influence of her friend Maxfield Parrish. A beautiful copy.
